I would love to see Microsoft appreciate those who DO HAVE vista license and give them a quite good upgrade price. My only concern is upgrading to Windows 7 license. There is a new Paint and Wordpad!! they haven't been touched since god knows when! The stupid UAC window (the source of users frustration and negative feedback of Vista) that shows up whenever you want to do system changes is much more intelligent now. They redeveloped the very old toolbar thing and call it super bar now With Windows 7 it seems that Microsoft is pulling what they've missed in Vista: truly new User Experience and very good performance (compared to Vista) However the former is about more stability, security.(under the hood stuff). The latter is all about new features, better GUI, performance.etc. Most of the people look at OS upgrades as Software Upgrades. Just finished downloading the beta and I am installing it to a 1.5GB Virtual PC.
